Prestwick Aerosystems is proud to continue Ayrshire’s long-standing aircraft manufacturing tradition. From our Prestwick site, we manufacture aircraft wing structures used on Airbus commercial aircraft worldwide. As part of the Airbus family, we play a key role in delivering safe, reliable and high-quality aerospace products.
The Opportunity:
To implement the procurement strategy, lead negotiations with the supply base to reduce the overall costs of materials bought and ensure flow down of customer Business Agreements across multiple suppliers is embedded and managed.
How you will contribute to the team:
• You will manage several high value strategic suppliers and monitor the overall performance of the supply base, to produce clear management information for reviews.
• You will support supplier transfer management requirements, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth and compliant transitions.
• You will develop and deliver tailored improvement plans for multiple suppliers, setting clear targets that align with our business requirements and performance expectations.
• You will assess Customer Satisfaction ratings across Product Suppliers and Service Providers, using insights to drive targeted performance improvements and strengthen supplier relationships
About you:
• Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
• Working towards CIPS (or equivalent)
• Graduate / HND or equivalent qualification or experience
