Job Description:

Definition of Surface Technology strategy, principles and concepts.

Development and harmonization of mature and robust materials and process specifications for Surface Technology.

Deliver Material and Manufacturing Process Selection List and Standard selection list.

Deliver for design engineering Surface solutions and associated data.

Ensuring robust part certification process by First Part Qualifications when developing Surface Technology.

Provide expertise support for engineering, manufacturing and in-service issues on Surface technologies.

Development and harmonization of technologies for external livery applications (paints, materials, processes), pre-treatment and cleaning technologies for surface preparation.

Ensure EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations incl. REACh, principles and concepts of eco- efficient materials & processes and special features such as electrical insulation, erosion effects, aerodynamic-effective coatings.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
