BASIC PURPOSE
Provide Maintenance Engineering and fleet management support activities (associated to EASA/EMAR Part M scope) to manage and assure the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft of the Customer fleet at their facilities, that are necessary to get a safety operation with the highest level of fleet availability and lowest maintenance cost, always in compliance with the Customer's National Regulation Authorities.
Support the Customer in all continuing airworthiness activities as required.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES /MAJOR END RESULTS
- Control of continuing airworthiness for Customer fleet
- Fleet availability and performance
- Maintenance scheduled economics and available performances
- Continuous improvement of Customer maintenance programme.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Perform the activities covering the scope of CAMO service department, that may include but not limited to:
- Development and update of the Operator Maintenance Program (OMP)
- Analysis of effectiveness of OMP and optimization processes as required
- Analyse Maintenance Status of aircraft in accordance with documentation provided by the Customer and issue maintenance work orders as required to comply with all airworthiness requirements
- Analysis of all Engineering Documentation, ADs, SBs, VSBs, Modifications, Engineering Orders, SIL, AOT, etc. for all ATA), in order to be implemented in the Customer fleet. For optional works (SBs, Mods) he/she is responsible to perform cost/benefit analysis (cost, maintenance improvements, operational improvements#) and report to the Customer. Also to provide an aircraft status for SBs, Mods configuration control.
- Monitor of the reliability of aircraft systems and components of the Customer fleet, performing all the required activities to issue the operator reliability reports and participation and supporting reliability meetings with the Customer. He/She shall liaise with other members of the Technical Services team (Core and local) and the suppliers/OEM organisations and oversee the reliability programme.
- Provide Long, Medium and/or Short Term Planning of the Customer.
- Ensure aircraft configuration control and update of aircraft included in the Customer fleet
- Ensure Technical Records are controlled and registered as required in the specified IT tool for the Customer.
- Support the Customer in any topic related to continuing airworthiness (queries solving, procedures development, etc.)
- Perform Customer Engineering Orders in maintenance "language” in order to execute SBs, VSBs, Mods, etc
- Answer and support any Technical Query associated with the ATAs analysed.
DECISION AND LEADERSHIP AUTHORITY
- Liaison with Customer for continuing airworthiness activities and fleet management
- Assessment on maintenance program and planning
- Assessment to Customer for SBs embodiment due cost / effectiveness analysis in liaison with internal Airbus Military policies and engineering documentation
- Assessment to Customer from Reliability analysis
- Provide answer to technical queries.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Technical: EASA/EMAR Part M and Part 145 regulation; Airline Business & Operations; Customize Maintenance Prog. & Planning; Maintenance and Planning Data Analysis; Maintenance economics/reliability; Maintenance Planning; Configuration Management in service; Aircraft systems and structure knowledge; Knows Maintenance operation; Use maintenance documentation.
- Soft: Customer expectations & needs; Manage authorities & customer relationship; Answer customer technical queries; Persuading and influence; Communication skills
Other information: Position is located at the Customer facilities in Madrid, during Customer working time. It may be requested to travel to other Customer facilities or Airbus facilities. Other deployments required up to 6 months. It is desirable previous experience on continuing aiworthiness activities at civil or military operators.
