In order to support the Master Data & Analytics team within our Spares & Services department, Airbus is looking for an IT SAP Data & Master data Architect (d/f/m) .

The Material Logistics IT department provides global solutions for Customer Services, covering the full E2E process in regard to the Material & Services management including Sales, Supply chain, Procurement and Warehousing execution. As part of Airbus Commercial Aircraft, we ensure the airworthiness and support of the global fleet while driving efficiency through information system innovation. In this role, you will participate in the Airbus vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SAP line of businesses involved in our area while securing end-to-end consistency in close collaboration with Business, Functional & System Architects.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Shape the architecture vision and roadmap for products while ensuring alignment with the Airbus ERP and Digital strategy.
  • Support S/4 Transformation program by delivering clean data for migration & prepare centralize master data pattern as an enabler for Business & Digital transformation (standard).
  • Define and govern architectural standards and blueprints to ensure the scalability and long-term sustainability of the Material Logistics IT landscape.
  • Support the SAP line of businesses strategy with a strong link to the ERP Center of Excellence and SAP Editor.
  • Analyze and understand business processes and challenges, focusing on full digitalization and real-time production.
  • Deliver and maintain a harmonized set of IT tools to support master data management and system integration in line with Airbus standards.
  • Plan, design, and integrate IT system components including hardware and software to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other IT Architects and developers to deliver globally optimal solutions using best-in-class technologies.


Desired skills and qualifications

  • Degree in IT or a similar qualification.
  • Several years of experience in an IT-related function, specifically in SAP Data architecture and related system design patterns.
  • Solid SAP knowledge in at least one module (SD, MM, PP, WM, IBP, or APO).
  • Extensive experience with SAP HANA, SAP MDG, SAP Business Data Platform, SAP BTP
  • Experience in component integration and the design of complex IT products within an ERP environment and beyond with other Data Framework (AWS Palantir,...)
  • Knowledge of Information Security Management Systems.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset to effectively liaise with global stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; German and/or French are considered a plus.
