Head of HR (d/f/m) site Manching

In this role, you will be responsible for approximately 7000 employees at our Manching location.

Your Mission:

  • Lead the entire Manching HR Team.
  • Manage the social relations for Manching in a trustful manner whilst balancing the business needs and serve as the site's primary contact for all social matters.
  • Lead the Team Leaders across Manching, encompassing HR Business Partners, HR Advisors, Talent Acquisition Partners, and other HR roles and drive the development of the entire HR organization and the HR Team.
  • Be accountable for representing the employer's interest to social partners (workers assembly).
  • Ensure that operational and personnel measures are implemented on time and on quality while considering legal, internal, labor, and collective bargaining framework conditions.
  • Steer all local works council negotiations and local works agreements and build a strong relationship and contribute to topics and negotiations on company and/or groups council level.
  • Manage vocational training programs to align with the HR resource strategy. This includes setting the learning priorities for the Technical System Training (Technische System Schulung).
  • Implement internal personnel guidelines, personnel services, personnel programs, and all relevant corporate guidelines for the location like family/elder care and fostering diversity aspects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and Facility Management as a member of the local management board (SOLG) as well as of the Crisis Management Team in Manching.
  • Responsible for achieving the location's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals as part of the local management board (SOLG).
  • Manage external relationships essential to the role, including those with the employers' association, universities, training institutions, the employment agency and social security providers.
  • Optimize and digitalize existing personnel processes locally in partnership with the central HR departments.
  • Define, coordinate, and initiate individual and collective personnel measures in partnership and alignment with the Division and Group requirements.
  • Actively support the design and implementation of change management processes at the location and lead the strategic workforce planning of the site in line with Business needs.
  • Be a key driver in fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture and spearhead initiatives for 'upskilling' and 'reskilling' to meet the technological challenges of the future aerospace industry.

Your Profile:

  • You are an experienced leader, who is passionate about inspiring teams and cultivating a collaborative environment where everyone can do their best work.
  • You have successfully completed a legal, pedagogical, or business studies program, ideally with a focus on human resources.
  • You have extensive experience in personnel management in an international corporate environment and in dealing with internal and external HR contacts.
  • You have a solid knowledge of labor and collective bargaining law (preferably in the metal and electrical industry).
  • You can demonstrate a successful negotiation and implementation of demanding collective agreements.
  • You are familiar with the regional labor market and have a reliable network.
  • You are motivated and move professionally within the management structure of an industrial company.
  • Personally, you convince with empathy, a hands-on mentality, persuasiveness, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented and goal-directed working style.
  • You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
