Position Summary

The HR Manager/HRBP is responsible for leading our people operations. This isn't a "sit behind the desk and delegate" role; the HR Manager/HRBP will be the architect and the builder of HR function in the dedicated legal entity. As a true generalist, the HR Manager will oversee the entire employee lifecycle-from the first recruitment touchpoint to offboarding-ensuring that our operational foundation is rock-solid while fostering a high-performance culture .

Primary Responsibilities

End-to-End Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, co-interviewing, and offer management. Ensuring that the salaries offered are aligned with Airbus salary structure and to ensure internal equity is maintained.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to find "culture-add" talent in a competitive market.
  • Design and execute a ONE Airbus Malaysia onboarding experience that integrates new hires seamlessly.
  • Maintains the organization’s work structure by working closely with managers & department heads the job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Ensure that recruitment processes and policies are in place and adhered to.
  • Organize and conduct new hire onboarding programs.
  • To take lead & work closely with appointed agents and internal HR team when it comes to Employment Pass related matters for the hiring of non-local employees.

Hands-on Employee Relations & Employee Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact and provide professional consultation advice and guidance to employees regarding policies, benefits, personal development and all matters related to Human Resources.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, conducting investigations (If needed) and mediations with empathy and legal compliance.
  • Proactively monitor "office pulse" to maintain high engagement and morale.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements.
  • Responsible for working closely with the Employment legal team on disciplinary matters.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to lead & drive Employee Engagement initiatives within the organization/legal entity.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain and audit all employee records, ensuring 100% data integrity and legal compliance.
  • Accountable for the BIPO system in the legal entity.
  • Accountable to provide monthly reporting on turnover, headcount, diversity etc by ensuring the monthly HR Dashboard is updated on time for the entity.
  • Stay ahead of labor laws and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.
  • Responsible for ensuring all relevant documents that require stamping, must be stamped within the stipulated timeline as per legislation.
  • Responsible for overseeing payroll administration and collaborating with the Compensation and Benefits team on all matters related to monthly payroll.
  • Responsible for ensuring 100% compliance to the claims process when it comes to training claims from Human Resource Development Corp (HRDC) for the legal entity.

People Tempo Annual Cycle

  • Drive the annual People Tempo cycle as per timeline provided by Airbus Central.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on what to do to meet the requirements of the People Tempo cycle.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct.
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.
  • Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with HO Develop to Develop Organizational Training Calendar/Career Path planning for employees from a strategic point of view to retain talents.
  • To be a Sustainability Ambassador and representative for the organization, working closely with the Regional Sustainability Team.
  • To ensure that there is a succession plan and development plan in place for Critical Knowledge Owners for critical positions.
