External & Internal Communications Publisher

The External & Internal Communications Publisher oversees the end-to-end publication of news and content through various external and internal channels, and across all Airbus core languages. This role ensures smooth content management, translation coordination, proofreading and performance tracking, while continuously improving publication processes.

External Publication Management

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool : Create and coordinate the sending of e-mailings, newsletters and press releases using Salesforce
  • Website : Create, update and publish Airbus.com content (static and event pages content, web stories, press releases, newsletters, podcasts, flipbooks, etc.) using Drupal
  • Social media channels : Create and promote selected external publications via official Airbus accounts on various social media platforms (i.e. LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TikTok)


Internal Publication Management

  • Hub Factoring : Oversee end-to-end news publication process in the Hub, Airbus’ social intranet based on the Google LumApps platform
  • Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief to determine the appropriate news template, images and publication date
  • Oversee the translation process, including launching, following up and performing direct translations via DeepL Pro for non-sensitive texts
  • Manage proofreading to ensure content accuracy and quality
  • Publish Hub news and conduct final checks across all channels, including desktop, mobile-responsive platforms, mobile apps and Apple TV
  • Perform basic image editing when required
  • Manually create Airbus TV publications when necessary
  • Contribute to review and refinement of Hub templates for continued relevance and impact
  • Assist in maintaining and optimising Hub site performance
  • Support performance management by providing publication statistics


Communications Performance Management

  • Compile and provide data analytics for regular reporting routines and ad-hoc requests
  • Contribute to the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Create dashboards and reports related to external and internal publications


Channel Continuous Improvement

  • Assess channels’ effectiveness and identify areas for improvement based on performance metrics
  • Recommend data-driven optimisations based on user behaviour, analytics and performance insights
  • Ensure quality of content published across channels, in particular the adherence to brand voice, tone and style guidelines


Publication Process Standardisation

  • Support publication process design and implementation
  • Maintain and update external and internal channel processes as needed
  • Contribute to editorial guidelines for individual channels


Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • Fluent in English; other languages such as French, German, Spanish are a plus
  • Proficient in tools/software usage:
    • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or equivalent office suite
    • Content management systems (CMS), ideally LumApps, Piskel
    • CRM tools, social media marketing tools and publishing solutions, ideally Salesforce, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Drupal, WordPress, Hootsuite
    • Graphics editing software, ideally Adobe Photoshop
  • Experienced in project management
  • Structured, process driven, data-minded - with eye for detail and ability to extract actionable insights from large amounts of data
  • Critical thinking and problem solving minded
  • Autonomous, reliable, open and direct
  • Able to work collaboratively across organisations, teams and hierarchical levels
  • At ease in multicultural environments
  • Understanding business and organisational strategic challenges
  • Adaptable, highly reactive and stress/pressure resistant.
