Job Description:

As a Solution Architect, you will be the strategic lead for our enterprise-wide middleware landscape, with a specialized focus on Job Management, Printing Solutions, and Archiving. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and business efficiency, ensuring that our automated workflows and document management systems are robust, secure, and future-proof.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Service & Vendor Management: Oversee Middleware Service Management and steer external service providers to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Project Leadership: Independently lead and execute projects on Technical Jobs scheduling , Archiving, Document management and Printing solutions with Demand & Security Alignment complying with Airbus and Industry standards.
  • SAP Support Integration: Support the SAP Basis Middleware team in cross-application topics, including user administration, job management, and interface design.
  • Automation & Job Management (Automic / UC4) : Expertise in Workflow Logic & Dependencies / Error Handling & Restartability / Agent Architecture / Integration with SAP.
  • Data & Documents Archiving: Expert in ILM(Information Lifecycle Management) / Document Management Systems Architecture / Data Integrity & Retrieval.
  • Printing & Spool Management: Expert in Spooler Optimization / Infrastructure compatibility / Security / Interface Management.

What we're looking for:

  • Foundational Training: A successfully completed degree/training as an IT Specialist or a comparable professional qualification.
  • SAP Expertise: Several years of professional experience in SAP Basis, with a deep focus on SAP document and data archiving.
  • Automation Mastery: Extensive, multi-year experience working with the Automic Automation Engine and similar solutions like Red wood / Stone branch / RPA etc..
  • Technical Infrastructure: Profound knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems, virtual environments, and network concepts.
  • Security & Protocols: Solid understanding of modern security and authentication mechanisms.
  • Communication: Fluent in English.
  • Working Style: High level of self-motivation, resilience, and a methodical approach to independent work.
  • Teamwork: A confident demeanor with strong communication and collaboration skills
