A position for a Data Security Engineer has just arised within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The successful candidate will join Data Integration team. As a Data Security Engineer you will take responsibility in relation to the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls for data repositories and data information systems part of Data Integration portfolio of products, with a key focus on data protection (DLP, encryption).

The successful candidate will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of data architects working supporting the architecture standard data patterns from a security point of view, and supporting the analysis of security vulnerabilities affecting Data Integration products.

You will make the data fly inside Airbus Defence & Space and also from and to outside partners, customers or governments!

Main tasks :

• Responsible of the vulnerabilities analysis in relation to all Data Integration products, reviewing the white papers provided by Security team and applicability to our area
  
• Support to Data Integration solution architect in relation to security analysis and main focal point in Data Integration for the Cybersecurity teams.
  
• Accountable of the encryption topics related to the securitization of data flows made by Data Integration team, aligning standards defined at company level with our products
  
• Accountable to keep up to date the certificates related to securing our products, and follow up activities with Operation Managers in all areas
  
• Main focal point for compliance and export control topics in relation to Data Integration platform and data flows
  
• Accountable of DLP topics at M2M data flows and implementation analysis
  
• Support to data segregation strategy implementation in close alignment with Data Governance policies and directives
  
• Alignment with Security team in relation to the attacks or security issues analyzed by the Data Integration Platforms
  

Outputs :

• All Data Integration products free of critical vulnerabilities
  
• Security Notes and associated calendar and documentation to deploy them inside Data Integration products
  
• Operational Dossier up to date with data security related topics
  
• DLP assessment for the M2M set up and guidance on its implementation
  
• Certificates repository up to date
  
• Data Integration Architecture Dossier up to date with encryption and data security topics
  

Skills & Competencies :

• University degree in IT related field
  
• English at negotiation level
  
• Spanish at native level is desirable, negotiation level as minimum
  
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
  
• Over 5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Security Engineer or similar role
  
• Over 5 years of hands on experience on network protocols security mechanisms
  
• Data Integration protocols medium/high knowledge
  
• PKI Management medium knowledge
  
• IT Security components (sec GWs, antivirus, IAM clients ...) high knowledge
  
• Server system administration basic knowledge (windows/linux), including shell scripting programming
  
• Compliance & regulations in restricted areas medium knowledge
  
• Experience in developing technical and support documentation, mainly in the IT security area
  
• Microservices architecture On Premises experience or knowledge would be a plus
  
• Knowledge on DevOps methods and tools (some experience would be a plus)
  
• IT project management knowledge
  
• Basic experience in IT Service Management principles
  
• Basic knowledge about Data Analytics
  
• Agile methodologies
