Digital Roof Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Executive Intern to support our Governance team with crucial operational tasks. Reporting to the Head of Demand & Performance (IIDRG), the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient documentation and information flow within the Roof organization. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business operations, document management, data analysis, and governance research..

Responsibilities:

  • Presentation Development: Create compelling and professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Governance Document Support: Assist in the development, formatting, and maintenance of governance-related documents, including policies, procedures, and reports. This will involve ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper version control.
  • Spreadsheet Management: Monitor and update various spreadsheets using Google Sheets, ensuring data accuracy, identifying trends, and generating basic performance reports as needed.
  • Secondary Research:
    • Research and document governance best practices and ways of working within the industry, including frameworks and methodologies.
    • Support the implementation of governance best practices within the team.
    • Assist in benchmarking our governance practices against industry peers.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Governance/ Roof team as required.
  • Project Assistance: Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned, offering organizational and analytical support.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Must-have: Proven proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).
  • Key requirement: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis concepts is a plus.
  • Interest in learning about governance activities and industry best practices.
