This role exerts a company-wide cross-functional influence and helps provide strategic leadership or vision to the whole organisation. As ServiceNow Technical Architect you will hold Technical responsibility for applications across the delivery of Professional Services ServiceNow engagements. This includes control of technical scope, adherence to scope and implementation in-line with best practice across all engagements.

As a ServiceNow Technical Architect, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and technical governance of ServiceNow solutions across IT Operations Management (ITOM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Telecommunications Service Management (TSM), AIOps, Now Assist, and Agentic AI capabilities.
  • Ensure solution delivery aligns with agreed scope, business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on ServiceNow platform adoption, roadmap planning, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Define target architecture and solution blueprints that enable scalable, resilient, and service-aware operating models.
  • Lead architecture discussions, workshops, and technical design reviews with client stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
  • Drive ServiceNow platform innovation by leveraging AI-powered capabilities, automation, predictive analytics, and Agentic AI frameworks.
  • Take ownership of complex technical decisions, architecture risks, integration strategies, and platform governance activities.
  • Guide the development teams through design, implementation and deployment phases
  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to support presales activities, solution demonstrations, proposal responses, and technical estimations.
  • Mentor architects, developers, and consultants, fostering technical excellence and continuous knowledge sharing.

· Drive innovation and adoption of emerging ServiceNow capabilities.

  • Contribute to organisational thought leadership through whitepapers, architecture patterns, accelerators, reusable assets, and community engagement.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

· ServiceNow certification in System Administration, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist in ITSM, CSM, IRM. Certified Technical Architect certification is highly desirable but not mandatory

· Strong knowledge of integration architecture, cloud technologies and enterprise platforms.

· Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow transformation programmes.

· Ability to translate business outcomes into scalable technical solutions.

· Excellent client-facing, presentation and leadership skills.

· Strong pre-sales experience with expertise across ITSM, ITOM, IRM, Customer Service Management (CSM), and Telecommunications Service Management (TSM). Experience with AIOps, Now Assist, Agentic AI, and related business process transformation initiatives would be highly advantageous.

  • Exhibits prior and current technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technology.
  • Understanding of and experience selling to enterprise IT architecture.
  • Exhibits strong technical expertise in designing and delivering scoped application
  • SC clearance is desirable, or the ability to obtain SC clearance is required.
