As a team

Accenture Security helps organisations build cyber resilience and navigate complex business and technology transformation. We work with some of the world's leading organisations to manage cyber risk, modernise security capabilities and drive secure innovation.

Joining our team means working alongside a global network of security professionals who combine deep technical expertise with industry insight to help clients solve their most pressing security challenges.

You will have the opportunity to work on complex transformation programmes, deepen your SAP and/or Oracle security expertise, and help clients securely transform and modernise their enterprise technology environments.

The role

We are looking for an SAP or Oracle Security Consultant to join our growing Security Transformation team.

You will work with clients on complex SAP / Oracle transformation programmes, helping them assess their current security environment, identify risks and design and deliver future-state security capabilities.

The role combines SAP/Oracle security expertise with security consulting and transformation, covering areas such as Identity & Access Management (IAM), roles and authorisations, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Segregation of Duties (SoD), security controls and governance.

You will take ownership of a defined functional or technical area within a wider transformation programme, working directly with client stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence, manage your deliverables and provide day-to-day guidance to junior team members.

In this role you will:

  • Lead a defined area within SAP and/or Oracle security transformation programmes, taking ownership of analysis, design and delivery.
  • Assess existing SAP/Oracle security capabilities, processes, technologies and controls to identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Design security requirements and target-state capabilities across areas such as IAM, roles and authorisations, PAM, SoD and security governance.
  • Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand and challenge business, security and technical requirements.
  • Translate security risks and business requirements into practical recommendations, designs and transformation roadmaps.
  • Work closely with SAP/Oracle functional and technical teams, security specialists and client stakeholders to embed security throughout wider transformation programmes.
  • Produce and present high-quality client deliverables, including assessments, security designs, recommendations, governance models and implementation plans.
  • Manage activities, risks, issues and dependencies within your area and ensure delivery against agreed timelines.
  • Provide guidance to analysts and junior team members, reviewing outputs and supporting high-quality delivery.
  • Contribute to proposals, client discussions, business cases and the continued growth of Accenture's Security Transformation capabilities.

We are looking for candidates with:

Essential experience

  • Experience in SAP or Oracle security within cyber security, technology consulting or large-scale business and technology transformation.
  • Experience in one or more areas such as Identity & Access Management, roles and authorisations, Privileged Access Management, Segregation of Duties, security controls or governance.
  • Experience assessing current-state security capabilities and translating findings into requirements, target-state designs, recommendations or transformation plans.
  • A strong understanding of security risks and controls associated with enterprise applications and the business processes they support.
  • Experience taking ownership of a defined area or workstream and delivering outcomes with limited supervision.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills, including experience facilitating workshops.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.
  • Ability to produce clear, structured and high-quality client-facing deliverables.
  • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and manage activities and dependencies within your area of responsibility.
  • A proactive consulting mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive activities through to completion.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as projects require.

Desirable experience

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, SAP GRC, Oracle Cloud ERP/Fusion, Oracle E-Business Suite or similar enterprise application environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale SAP or Oracle transformation programmes.
  • Broader security knowledge across areas such as IAM, cloud security, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), security architecture and cyber risk.
  • Experience supporting or guiding junior team members and reviewing their deliverables.

What’s in it for you

At Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes up to 25/30 days’ vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice!
