Oracle Cloud EPM Consultant
Career level: Consultant (CL9) | Location: London / Manchester / Edinburgh | Practice: Finance Reinvention Partner (Oracle EPM)
Why this role
As an Oracle Cloud EPM Consultant, you'll design and deliver Oracle EPM cloud solutions for clients across government and financial services — sitting with their finance teams, turning what they need into a working EPM design, and seeing it through to go-live. You'll build real delivery credibility on Oracle EPM programmes quickly, as a key member of the delivery team, alongside people who architect this work for a living.
Accenture is a leading solutions and services company. Our strategy is to be the reinvention partner of choice for our clients and to lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI. We bring together our people, deep industry expertise and technology to deliver end-to-end outcomes for clients — and Finance is one of seven Reinvention Partners at the centre of that. Finance RP brings the CFO agenda to life for clients — stronger performance, sharper insight, and better control.
"Our clients want a partner that can help them reinvent—boldly, continuously and at speed… while continuously building the most client-focused, AI-enabled great place to work for our people—our Reinventors." — Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO
What you'll bring
Your Oracle EPM expertise. Hands-on delivery with Oracle Cloud EPM, centred on consolidation and close in FCCS, and extending across the wider suite — including planning, budgeting and forecasting in EPBCS / PBCS. You configure and validate EPM solutions that hold together for the client, and you understand how the functional, application and technical elements of an Oracle Cloud programme fit within the broader Oracle Cloud ERP landscape. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud's AI capabilities and Agents, and how they augment an EPM solution, is welcome.
Finance data and conversion. A solid understanding of finance data structures, and of data migration and integration into EPM. You're comfortable with functional data conversion, transformation and reconciliation — getting the numbers in cleanly and proving they tie out.
Finance process knowledge. Genuine understanding of the budgeting and forecasting, consolidation and close processes EPM serves, and a feel for how the way you configure the system shows up for the finance function: a faster close, numbers people trust, stronger control. Exposure to public-sector or financial-services finance is a plus, given the clients you'll work with.
Delivery and client skills. You own your scope and follow it through, and you support the delivery team around you. You build credible relationships with client stakeholders, run workshops and status discussions, manage expectations and timelines, and hold realistic boundaries. An appreciation of user-experience-based design — personas and user journeys, and how they sharpen a solution — helps. You bring structured, analytical problem-solving and communicate clearly under pressure.
Ways of working. We're increasingly an AI-first delivery team — bringing agentic tooling and orchestration into how we design, analyse and deliver, with our people owning the judgement and the outcome. If you already work this way, that's a real plus, and we're keen to hear from people bringing that experience.
Who you are
You take ownership and follow through. You work well in a team and build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. You bring good judgement and critical thinking to ambiguous problems, and you're clear and considered in how you make and explain decisions. You're early in your trajectory and set on building the rest.
Things that set strong candidates apart: Oracle EPM certification; hands-on experience across more than one EPM module (FCCS or EPBCS/PBCS); a track record on complex Oracle Cloud EPM implementations, project prep through to go-live; experience delivering in public sector or financial services; and a professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent industry experience).
If you have most of this and the drive to build the rest, we want to hear from you — tell us what you'd bring.
