Job Description

Job Title: Outbound Supervisor

Job Location: Narsapura, Bengaluru

Job Summary

At A.P. Moller – Maersk, we are transforming global logistics through integrated supply chain solutions. We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to manage outbound operations within our contract logistics setup, ensuring seamless service delivery to our B2B customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Operations
    • Supervise order fulfillment including picking, packing, staging, and dispatch
    • Ensure OTIF (On Time in Full) delivery performance for customer orders
    • Validate shipping documentation and compliance with client requirements.
    • Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and dispatch planning
    • Ensure optimal utilization of vehicles and adherence to dispatch schedules
  • Inventory & Systems
    • Maintain high inventory accuracy using WMS.
    • Conduct cycle counts and support periodic stock audits
    • Analyse discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates and operators
    • Drive performance through daily huddles and KPI tracking
    • Ensure manpower planning and shift management
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and customer queries
    • Ensure service delivery as per SLAs agreed with B2B clients
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (transport, planning, CX)
  • Safety & Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure compliance with Maersk safety standards and global best practices
    • Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects
    • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence

Key Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (Supply Chain/Logistics preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse/contract logistics operations
  • Hands-on experience in B2B outbound warehouse operations (inbound exposure is an added advantage)
  • Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts in a fast-paced environment
