If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do

The Workforce Transformation Senior Project Manager establishes and runs HR governance for Vodafone’s workforce transformation across Group, Markets and VOIS. The role maintains an integrated view of workforce initiatives, headcount impacts, operating model changes, organisational health implications, delivery risks and cross-market dependencies.

The role works closely with HR, Finance, business owners, Group OE and the Global Cost Transformation Office in Finance (GCTO) through a consistent governance rhythm and common fact base. It prepares workforce issues and operating model changes for decision, supports resolution at the appropriate level, and escalates matters requiring senior intervention with a clear decision ask.

  • Maintain the inventory of workforce transformation initiatives across Group, Markets and VOIS.
  • Reconcile initiative-level FTE impacts with agreed baselines and targets, and align with GCTO on associated cost impacts.
  • Support coordination and review of Organisational health metrics for Group, Markets and VOIS.
  • Support monthly HR governance cycle, coordinating inputs, analysis, decisions, actions and escalation between Markets, Group OE and GCTO including monthly FTE tracking and Workforce Initiative reporting.
  • Track initiative maturity, delivery progress, workforce impact, risks, dependencies and recovery actions.
  • Identify overlaps, gaps and doublé counting across workforce, operating model, organisational health and cost transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate senior HR Business Partners, Heads of HR and Finance Business Partners to align workforce plans, challenge assumptions, manage dependencies and secure resolution of delivery risks.
  • Support the preparation of decision papers and recommendations for HRLT and other governance forums on material workforce and operating model issues.
  • Maintain the action, decision and escalation trail, following agreed actions through to closure.
  • Align workforce reporting and governance outputs with GCTO
