What you’ll do

The Senior Manager, Business Development role is responsible for leading a team of Business Development Managers to drive strategic growth across the Private Sector portfolio. Working across Regions, MNC, VBI and Strategic Alliances, the role is accountable for pipeline generation, market development, people leadership and revenue growth. Key accountabilities include:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Development Managers, creating a high-performance culture focused on growth and customer outcomes.
• Develop and execute growth strategies across Regions, MNC, VBI and Strategic Alliance channels.
• Identify and enable new revenue opportunities that contribute to market share growth and commercial performance.
• Build and maintain senior customer, partner and industry relationships to create and accelerate business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Account Teams to drive strategic opportunities from qualification through to closure.
• Leverage market, customer and competitor insights to shape growth plans and commercial priorities.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic partners, alliances and system integrators to expand routes to market.
• Facilitate customer and partner engagement activities that showcase VodafoneThree capabilities and generate pipeline.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to achieve growth objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor and ambassador for VodafoneThree, enhancing market presence and positioning the business as a strategic technology partner.

Who you are

• Significant experience in Business Development, Sales Leadership, Strategic Partnerships or Commercial Growth at a senior level within a B2B environment.
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing sales or business development teams.
• Demonstrable success in identifying, shaping and converting complex commercial opportunities.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise and Private Sector customer environments, including large and multinational organisations.
• Experience building and influencing relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to translate market insight into growth strategies and revenue opportunities.
• Experience working within Telecommunications, Technology, Managed Services or other complex solutions-led environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience influencing across multiple business functions.
