About this role
We are seeking a Network Specialist to provide technical service desk support for premium customers with complex solutions and stringent SLA requirements. This role operates in a 24/7 shift-based environment and requires strong analytical skills, patience, and the ability to manage stress effectively. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving network issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with ITIL standards.
What you’ll do
- Initiate diagnostics and perform proactive analysis for network faults.
- Conduct root cause analysis for network alarms.
- Manage incidents throughout their lifecycle, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Transfer tickets to Level 2 engineers and other teams as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and third parties based on business impact.
- Keep customers regularly updated on ongoing issues and join bridge calls during escalations.
- Handle customer queries and complaints to resolution.
- Manage queues effectively and multitask in a dynamic environment.
Who you are
- Engineering graduate (BE/BTech) with CCNA certification; CCNP is an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of NOC experience in a technical profile.
- minimum 1 year in technical trouble shooting
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies; Cisco certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work in global, virtual teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office and business-level English.
- Experience in WAN technologies and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Adaptable, organised, and proactive with a focus on customer experience.
