About this role
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support the Vodafone Qatar Service Delivery Team by managing end‑to‑end Accounts Payable processes. The individual will be responsible for accurate invoice processing, reconciliations, audit support, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring that service level agreements are consistently met. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset to enhance process efficiency through continuous improvement practices.
What you’ll do
• Deliver First Time Right (FTR) output across invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and other Accounts Payable activities.
• Perform all tasks within defined timelines and service level agreements.
• Manage mailbox activities and provide accurate, timely responses to vendor and customer queries.
• Compile, analyse, and present reports, offering corrective action proposals where required.
• Maintain a strong understanding of accounting standards and support Statutory, Internal and SOX audits.
• Complete month‑end close (MEC) activities within expected timelines.
• Meet reporting and KPI commitments consistently.
• Contribute improvement suggestions through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Enhance customer experience through effective query resolution.
• Collaborate with teams such as AP, AR, MDM, Treasury, and local market teams to close pending tasks.
• Uphold GPO timelines, organisational objectives and financial‑year targets.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives through automation and process optimisation.
• Utilise ERP platforms (preferably Oracle or SAP) and Microsoft Office for daily operations.
• Engage transparently with stakeholders and build strong professional relationships.
• Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-driven mindset and effectively manage challenging situations.
Who you are
• Hold a B.Com, Master’s in Finance, or a Diploma in Finance.
• Bring 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable with strong accounting knowledge.
• Display excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Possess experience in vendor management and stakeholder management.
• Understand end‑to‑end Accounts Payable, MDM processes and basic accounting principles.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, coordination and presentation skills.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is considered an advantage.
• Capable of managing complex or difficult operational situations professionally.
