Your contribution:
For the role of Specialist Tax we are looking for candidates with a broad range of skills. The main responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for Spain operational tax management within local team and alignment with the tax strategy.
• Evaluation of issues and advising on any tax related issues for Vantage Towers Spain (e.g., projects, suppliers and customers tax queries, reporting, compliance, tax planning, tax risk management)
• Assists with the preparation of responses to Tax authorities’ queries in relation to commercial activities, tax structures and projects worked on.
• To ensure that the financial information for tax in the internal and external reporting documentation processes is accurate and provides a true and fair representation of the assets and liabilities of the local entity.

What makes you stand out:

• Degree qualified – Law and/or Finance
• 4-5 years tax experience -industry and/or the profession.
• Broad knowledge and experience of domestic and international direct and indirect taxation, VAT, and other taxes.
• Demonstrates appreciation of business issues and value drivers when evaluating transactions and developing and implementing proposals.
• Excellent written and presentation skills. Able to communicate tax issues to non-tax specialists and senior management.
• Desirable: General experience of domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, disposal and reorganisations and capital and finance raising transactions.
• Advanced level of English
