About this Role

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to support the design, development, integration, and continuous enhancement of the ServiceNow platform. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high‑quality solutions, ensure platform stability, and apply best practices across ServiceNow applications, Service Portal, and integrations.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and custom components.
  • Build, enhance, and customise Service Portal features, ensuring effective collaboration with functional and technical teams.
  • Deliver and support complex third-party integrations, including web services and plugin‑based solutions.
  • Apply strong understanding of CMDB and Asset Management concepts.
  • Improve platform stability, performance, and coverage through continuous optimisation and best practices.
  • Produce and maintain documentation for development, designs, and configurations.
  • Partner with developers, administrators, and business analysts to support seamless communication across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards, security controls, and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Share knowledge, provide training, and support team capability building.
  • Stay informed about new ServiceNow features, integration tools, and automation capabilities to improve solution delivery.

Who you are

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator.
  • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development, including client‑side and server‑side scripting and JavaScript.
  • Advanced understanding of ServiceNow integrations and Service Portal development.
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies, including experience with ceremonies and workflows.
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Effective organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in diverse environments.
  • Experience leading a team is advantageous.
  • Preferred: ServiceNow CSA certification and Service Portal micro‑certification.
