About this Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing solutions that ensure high-quality code and reliable digital capabilities. This role plays a critical part in validating functional and non-functional requirements, driving test automation, and tracking quality assurance metrics to support delivery excellence across digital network solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases aligned to user stories and technical acceptance criteria, leveraging automation wherever possible.
  • Debug tests, analyse defects, and collaborate with software engineering teams to recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify, record, prioritise, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Design and implement system integration and acceptance tests in line with agreed testing strategies.
  • Produce and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Analyse testing requirements to develop effective testing scenarios in compliance with TMMi Level 3 standards.
  • Track and report quality metrics such as defect density, defect leakage, and early-life incidents.
  • Work closely with project teams to understand business context, technical environments, and conformance criteria.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Jenkins, Autify, Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, or similar.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing through testing communities, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support or lead small testing teams, including task allocation and contribution to test planning activities.

Who you are

  • You bring 4–6 years of professional experience in software testing within complex delivery environments.
  • You hold an ISTQB certification and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
  • You have strong working knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks, including CI/CD integration.
  • You are experienced in test management tools such as HP ALM.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You collaborate well within diverse teams and actively pursue continuous learning and skills development.
