About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead to drive technical excellence across multiple mobile squads. This role involves defining and owning React Native architecture, leading technical initiatives, and ensuring alignment with product and business goals. The individual will manage engineering teams, foster collaboration, and deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable mobile solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Define and own React Native cross-platform architecture aligned with mobile guild standards.
  • Lead design and evolution of shared frameworks, libraries, and reusable components.
  • Drive technical roadmap initiatives such as modularisation and performance optimisation.
  • Act as escalation point for complex integration issues.
  • Lead squads to deliver features aligned with product roadmaps.Line-manage 4–10 engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and career development.
  • Foster an inclusive and psychologically safe team environment.Represent React Native capability in technical forums and guild-wide discussions.
  • Establish and enforce standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, performance, and security.Collaborate with backend teams to ensure secure and efficient API integration.

Who you are

  • 9+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript concepts, SOLID principles, and modern design patterns.
  • Advanced experience with React Native and TypeScript in production-scale applications.
  • Good understanding of iOS & Android platforms and build systems.
  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Strong background in unit testing, automation, and TDD/BDD principles.
  • Deep knowledge of mobile performance optimisation and security concepts.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and static analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and grow engineering talent.
