About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. This role involves designing cloud resources, building automation pipelines, managing deployments, and ensuring observability across systems. The individual will work with cutting-edge tools and technologies including AWS, GCP, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.

What you’ll do

  • Design and provision cloud resources on AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Manage application deployments across staging and production environments using GitHub Actions, integrating SonarQube and Nexus for code quality and artifact management.
  • Implement observability solutions with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch, creating actionable dashboards and alerts.
  • Build and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring regular testing and reliability.
  • Apply hands-on experience with Istio and service mesh concepts.
  • Implement and maintain GitOps practices using ArgoCD.
  • Automate workflows and CI/CD processes using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Utilise strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
  • Skilled in CI/CD automation tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Proficient in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Experienced in incident, problem, and release management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
