Role Purpose/Business Unit:

This role supports the execution of Group Vodacom Business sales effectiveness and transformation initiatives across markets. Working closely with the Strategic Sales Enablement Manager, the role provides analytical, reporting and project delivery support to improve sales performance, strengthen governance, develop and drive adoption of Group sales standards.

The role brings structure and insight to sales operations by analysing performance trends, developing reporting tools and sales playbooks, monitoring improvement initiatives and coordinating engagement with OpCos. It plays an important role in turning data into actionable information and ensuring that agreed actions, programmes and governance processes are effectively implemented across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales transformation project execution - Support the delivery of Group sales effectiveness and transformation initiatives through project coordination, milestone tracking, risk monitoring, documentation and stakeholder follow-up to ensure successful execution.
  • Insight generation and continuous improvement - Conduct focused analytical reviews, identify process improvements and contribute to the development and enhancement of sales tools, playbooks, operating practices, reporting frameworks, and governance processes
  • Market engagement and enablement - Work with OpCos to gather requirements, share best practices, support adoption of Group processes and monitor implementation progress against agreed standards and objectives.
  • Sales performance reporting and analysis - Develop and maintain sales performance reports, dashboards and management information packs. Analyse sales results, pipeline trends, forecast performance and productivity metrics to identify opportunities, risks and emerging themes.
  • Governance and performance management support - Coordinate recurring sales governance processes, performance reviews and action tracking. Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency and timeliness across markets and support the preparation of performance review materials.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Matric – Essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields – Essential.
  • Relevant post-graduate level qualification – Advantageous.
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in telecommunications, ICT, enterprise/B2B sales, sales operations, commercial analytics, management consulting or related disciplines.
  • Experience in data analysis, business performance management, project coordination or sales support environments.
  • Experience in delivering cross-functional projects, business transformation initiatives or process improvement programmes would be advantageous.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

  • Analytical problem solving - Ability to analyse structured and unstructured data, identify trends and provide practical recommendations to address business challenges within a compelling storyline.
  • Data analysis and reporting - Strong capability in data interpretation, KPI reporting, dashboard management and the use of analytical tools to support informed decision-making.
  • Project coordination and execution - Able to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously, maintain delivery discipline, effectively track actions and dependencies, all underpinned with a change management mindset.
  • Stakeholder collaboration and communication - Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage constructively and independently with stakeholders in other functions and markets, and present analyses in a clear and concise manner.
  • Continuous improvement mindset - Demonstrates curiosity, initiative and a structured approach to improving processes, reporting and ways of working.
