About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Architect to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of enterprise analytics solutions within a high-visibility environment. This role sits within the AIDA service tower and supports critical SAP analytics initiatives aligned to S/4HANA Finance and enterprise reporting. Based in Pune, with flexibility to work across other India locations, this role offers the opportunity to shape modern data architectures, influence senior stakeholders, and drive scalable analytics outcomes across Vodafone’s finance and telecom landscape.

What you’ll do

Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of enterprise analytics solutions using SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).Define modern data architectures including layered modelling, data virtualisation, harmonisation, and semantic modelling.Design and implement analytics solutions aligned to S/4HANA Finance processes such as General Ledger and Universal Journal, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling (CCA, PCA), and Profitability Analysis (Margin Analysis / COPA).Architect and optimise complex data flows integrating S/4HANA and non-SAP systems using APIs and multiple data sources.Translate S/4 Finance reporting requirements into SAP Datasphere modelling, including replication scenarios, Business Entities, and Analytical Models.Design and deliver SAC dashboards, stories, analytic applications, and planning models to support business-led decision-making.Perform SAP Datasphere and S/4HANA integrations using CDS Views, OData services, and replication mechanisms.Lead and contribute across multiple full-cycle SAP analytics implementations.Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and senior leadership to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution design walkthroughs.Provide technical guidance to junior consultants, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and production readiness activities.Drive innovation by leveraging advanced SAP Datasphere capabilities such as data fabric concepts, replication flows, data marketplace, and space architecture.

Who you are

You bring 10–15 years of experience in SAP Analytics, including at least 3–5 full lifecycle implementations.You have deep, hands-on expertise in SAP BW/4HANA (ADSO modelling, AMDP, HANA SQL, performance tuning), ABAP CDS development, SAP Datasphere (Spaces, Data Builder, Business Builder, Analytical Models, Replication Flows), and SAP Analytics Cloud.You demonstrate strong understanding of S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, and OData services.You are proficient in SAP HANA SQL, calculation views, stored procedures, and complex data integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems, with exposure to SAP BTP preferred.You possess strong telecom domain knowledge, particularly within S/4HANA core finance processes and retail finance integrations.You are comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in ambiguous environments.You communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders, balancing technical depth with business context.You are outcome-focused, take ownership of deliverables, and proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.You hold a graduate or postgraduate qualification in a technical discipline, preferably engineering, with strong grounding in SDLC and Agile methodologies.
