About this Role

We are seeking a data-driven professional with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to support network virtualisation and optimisation. This role focuses on transforming complex network datasets into strategic insights, automating infrastructure operations, and driving innovation through agile methodologies. The individual will play a key role in evolving the technology operating model and enhancing customer experience through intelligent data solutions.

What you will do

Deliver AI solutions for Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) to enhance infrastructure automation.
Translate complex network datasets into strategic insights and capabilities for business stakeholders.
Develop and deploy Machine Learning and AI models to improve network planning and optimisation.
Identify emerging analytics trends and new data sources to foster innovation across Vodafone’s network.
Evaluate structured and unstructured data from various systems, including batch and real-time sources, to uncover hidden relationships and valuable insights.
Collaborate with design, development, and support teams to provide proactive and on-demand insights for product evolution and troubleshooting.

Who you are

Experienced in deploying machine learning models and algorithms to analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Skilled in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, QlikSense, CartoDB, deck.gl, and MapBox.
Proficient in integrating and linking diverse datasets to discover new insights.
Familiar with large-scale, multi-tenancy big data environments.
Desirable: Prior experience with reinforcement learning and LSTM models.
Expert-level proficiency with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Spark, Hive/Impala, HBase, Yarn); experience with Cloudera or similar cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Programming experience in Python, R, Java, Ruby, Pig, SQL, NoSQL, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenAIGYM, Mahout, SAS.
Fluent in English.
