About this role

We are seeking an AI and Data Science Expert to design and implement advanced AI solutions that support B2B consulting and sales for Vodafone Business Germany. This role involves building end-to-end AI systems using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and intelligent agents, while ensuring robust integration into production environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-quality AI workflows.

What you’ll do

  • Design and deploy AI solutions for B2B consulting and sales support, leveraging LLMs, RAG pipelines, and intelligent agents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and translate them into scalable AI workflows.
  • Collect and preprocess structured and unstructured data for model training and retrieval systems.
  • Develop predictive models and recommendation engines to deliver actionable insights.
  • Continuously refine AI models and pipelines for performance and reliability.
  • Stay ahead of AI trends and share knowledge to drive innovation within the team.

Who you are

  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing machine learning models, preferably in B2B or telecom contexts.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, RAG, LLMs, AI Agents, and Git.
  • Solid data engineering skills, including data pipelines and unstructured data handling.
  • Ability to design retrieval logic, embeddings, chunking, and evaluation.
  • Experience building production-ready APIs and services.
  • Optional: Spark, AWS cloud services, and scalable data architectures.
  • Proactive mindset with clean engineering practices and ability to simplify complex AI problems.
  • Fluent English required; conversational German is a plus.
