  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality procedures, and operational processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for the shift team, managing volumes, assigning incidents, and offering clear plans of action.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for tools and technologies, supporting complex tasks within the team.
  • Conduct training initiatives to close knowledge gaps and strengthen operational capability.
  • Work within a 24/7 rotational shift environment to provide continuous support.

Who you are

  • Skilled in PDH, SDH and EoSDH transmission technologies, with hands‑on knowledge of Nortel (TN1C, 1X, 4XE & 16Xe) and Marconi (OMS840, 846 & OM16XX) multiplexers.
  • Comfortable working with multiple third‑party providers and global infrastructure environments.
  • Strong in analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making within high‑pressure scenarios.
  • An inclusive communicator, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable to international working environments, particularly UK and European operations.
  • Familiar with ITIL principles and telecom tools such as Remedy, Cramer and BT platforms.
