Job Requirement:

Role Purpose:

Technical Solution cum Product Owner – Azure & Endpoint Health in Vodafone Cyber Security involves several key responsibilities. The primary purpose of this role is to enhance Vodafone's digital security by managing and optimizing the Azure and Endpoint Health platforms. This includes defining and evolving product strategies, vision, and roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with business priorities. The person will be responsible for the maintenance, management and integration of Microsoft suite such as Identify and combat cyberthreats across all your cloud services with Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS),Azure AD Information Protection(AAIP) and Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI), a cloud access security broker (CASB) that provides multifunction visibility, control over data travel, and sophisticated analytics and MFA (2FA authentication) Tool. The individual will also be responsible for administration and configuration of security device and software, enforcing the MCAS Threat Reduction techniques, Information Security policies and complying with requirements of security audits and compliance also analyze security risks and develop response procedures to improve overall security posture.The Cyber Prevent Solution Engineer focusses upon the provision of cyber security activities, aligning global cyber security risk reduction with local market business and technology priorities and to the global cyber security strategy to be implemented in the local market/s. reducing risk across Vodafone, technology infrastructure and implementing security controls across Vodafone with a single design. Typically reports to the Cyber Security Team Manager.

Mandatory Skills:


  • Must have hands-on experience with rule creation and maintenance, antispam and anti-phishing administration, report analysis and providing recommendations of future configurations and rules
  • Exposure/ knowledge of Symantec/Microsoft integration with SIEM technologies (i.e.: Splunk, HP ArcSight, Google SecOps etc.)
  • Previous experience as a Network Administrator \ Network Engineer a plus.
  • Understanding of Power BI and Automation technologies.
  • Understanding of Network Firewall technologies and operation
    Knowledge of programming languages a plus (i.e.: Java, .NET, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge System hardening concepts and techniques
  • A good understanding of Industry Security standards (i.e.: ISO27002, NIST Cyber Security Framework, etc.)
  • Operating knowledge of ITIL (ITIL Certification a plus)
  • Skilled in the areas of server log analysis and understanding of common analysis techniques and tools
  • Validation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Overlook Complex Change Implementation
  • Complex Change Assessment
  • Moderator Role for Knowledge Base Articles
