At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers – we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world. If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

Vodafone Finance Operations is evolving its operating model to drive greater scalability, efficiency and clarity of accountability across Service Lines, Market Financial controlling, and Local Market Finance Services. Within this context, the HOFO is accountable as the market-level financial integrator, ensuring that delivery, accounting judgement, and stakeholder expectations are brought together into a single, coherent financial outcome. The Senior Finance Manager plays a critical role in enabling this, acting as the operational extension of the HOFO and ensuring that all financial outputs across VOIS, MFC/Chief Accountant and Market Finance are aligned, reconciled and decision-ready.

The Senior Finance Manager is accountable for ensuring end-to-end financial coherence across Finance Operations delivery, accounting judgement, and market financial outcomes. Operating within a complex, global matrix, the role integrates inputs from VOIS Service Lines, MFC/Chief Accountant, and Market Finance to deliver a single, robust and decision-ready financial position that supports effective governance, high-quality reporting, and confident decision-making across senior finance leadership. Synthesize complex financial information into clear, structured and decision-ready insight to support senior leadership governance and effective stakeholder engagemen

• Identify, prioritise and drive resolution of cross-service issues, audit dependencies and close cycle blockers, ensuring clear ownership and timely resolution across Service Lines, MFC/Chief Accountant and market stakeholders. Manage escalations selectively, providing structured problem statements, options and recommendations to support effective decision-making at the appropriate management level.

• Translate complex operational and accounting inputs into clear and consistent financial narratives, supporting alignment across senior finance stakeholders and business leadership. Prepare high-quality briefing materials, anticipate key questions, and ensure consistent messaging across all contributing functions.

• Analyse and connect process performance, control outcomes and financial reporting to provide a holistic and actionable view of market performance. Identify trends, risks and inconsistencies, enabling leadership to challenge effectively, prioritise improvements, and ensure alignment between operational execution and financial outcomes.

• Ensure audit readiness and effective coordination across all contributing teams, validating that financial data, supporting evidence and disclosures are fully aligned. Support delivery of robust certification and statutory reporting outcomes by proactively identifying and addressing inconsistencies, reducing risk of audit or regulatory challenges.

• Identify recurring issues and systemic weaknesses within the operating model, providing insight into structural gaps such as ownership clarity, process handoffs and governance effectiveness.
