About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to design and deliver high-quality, semantic, and accessible web applications using modern technologies such as React.js and Next.js. This role focuses on building reusable components, ensuring responsive and performant user experiences, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive digital products.

What you’ll do

Develop semantic and accessible UI components following established best practices and accessibility standardsEnsure responsive design and optimal performance across multiple devices and screen sizesParticipate in code reviews to uphold quality standards and share knowledge within the teamContinuously improve and refactor the codebase to enhance performance and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutionsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues and performance bottlenecksStay informed on front-end trends, tools, and technologies, sharing insights with colleaguesMaintain clear documentation for code, processes, and technical decisionsPerform manual testing across browsers to ensure compatibility and usability

Who you are

Minimum 3 years of relevant front-end development experienceStrong understanding of semantic HTML5, CSS3, and accessibility best practicesSolid knowledge of coreJavaScript concepts (ES6+) independent of frameworksProficiency in React.js and Next.js, with understanding of their core principlesExperience in responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibilityFamiliarity with version control systems, particularlyGitStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimise codeDetail-oriented with a focus on maintainability and high-quality outputsCollaborative mindset with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and continuous learning
