Job Description

At Vantage Towers, we’re on a mission to power Europe’s sustainable digital transformation. As a leading tower company, we’re ushering in an era of technology-driven advances to help connect people, businesses, and internet-enabled devices like never before. We combine the scale, stability, and quality of our tower network with the agility, optimism, and energy of a start-up.

As a young TowerCo, we have already achieved strong results with a continued focus on accelerating growth and a special emphasis put on sustainability. As part of our team, you’ll work in a dynamic and multicultural environment that embraces open communication, collaboration, and teamwork.

If you’re ready to take responsibility and shape the future of telco infrastructure with us, then let’s level up in your career and reach the top – together.

Your contribution:

For the role of Senior Expert Geo‑Analysis & Data Science we are looking for candidates with a broad range of skills. The responsibilities include:

  • Lead advanced geo‑analyses and demand forecasting using network, geospatial, traffic, demographic, and commercial data sources.

  • Apply data science and ML techniques (e.g. forecasting models, clustering, spatial modelling, optimisation) to geo‑intelligence use cases.

  • Perform large‑scale data processing and feature engineering to support commercial and strategic analyses.

  • Design and automate geo‑analytics and data preparation workflows to improve scalability, consistency, and efficiency.

  • Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, decision‑oriented insights for Product, Commercial, and senior stakeholders.

  • Support strategic initiatives including network densification, capacity evolution, in‑building solutions, and M&A evaluations.

  • Collaborate with IT and data platform teams as a consumer of infrastructure and contributor of analytical requirements, with platform and architectural ownership remaining with IT.

  • Act as a senior reference within the Geo‑Intelligence team, coaching analysts on advanced analytical methods and best practices.

What makes you stand out:

  • BSc/MSc in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, modelling, and workflow automation.

  • Hands‑on experience with GIS and spatial analytics tools (e.g. QGIS, spatial databases, geospatial Python libraries).

  • Experience applying ML techniques to forecasting, classification, clustering, and optimisation problems.

  • Familiarity with cloud environments as execution platforms.

  • Strong experience in data science applied to geospatial and network‑related problems.

  • Proven ability to handle large, multi‑source datasets and build complex analytical pipelines.

  • Expertise in spatial analytics, forecasting, and quantitative modelling.

  • Ability to apply ML methods pragmatically as analytical tools, not as standalone AI products.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to frame analyses around commercial and strategic questions.

  • Excellent communication skills, translating technical results into clear business insights.

  • Advanced level of English
