Core Experience & Technical Skills

Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an Oracle DBA.Database Administration: Proficient in managing Oracle standalone and RAC clustered environments (versions 11g, 12c, and 19c).System Management: Skilled in software installations, version upgrades, configuration management, and advanced database configurations (RAC, ASM, RMAN, DG/DR).Backup & Recovery: Daily backup and recovery services, including data pump, hot/cold backup cloning, and production-to-staging migrations.Security & Auditing: Experience with Oracle Database Vault for data security, rule set configuration, securing application roles, and auditing data changes.Performance & Monitoring: Database performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and run-time event investigation for mission-critical OLTP databases.On-Call Support: Provided on-call support for production databases, including performance and application-related monitoring.Implementation: Experience with Oracle partitioning and Golden Gate.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with UNIX, shell scripting, and kernel parameters.Exadata: Knowledge of Exadata is considered an added advantage.
