About this Role
We are seeking a finance and accounting professional to support the end-to-end settlement, accounting, reconciliation, and reporting activities for Roaming, Interconnect, Content, and MVNO business partners within the VHA 3PS function. Based in Pune, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue and cost accounting, timely month-end close activities, robust financial controls, partner invoicing, dispute management, and compliance with contractual and business requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with local market stakeholders, business partners, and internal leadership teams to deliver high-quality financial operations and continuous process improvements
What you’ll do
Manage settlement activities for all costs and revenue related to Roaming, Interconnect, Content, and MVNO business partners.Validate costs with local market outsourced network partners.Prepare partner revenue payments and perform invoice validation.Reconcile partner payments and support local market receipt processes.Prepare invoices and credit notes for business partners.Prepare and post monthly revenue and cost journals.Deliver accurate and timely cash forecasts.Complete invoicing, accounting, and reconciliations in accordance with monthly schedules.Ensure all month-end close activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.Manage intercompany accounts payable and receivable activities, including balance agreement sign-offs and settlements.Design and maintain effective controls aligned with local market margin policies.Ensure compliance with systems, business rules, authority matrices, and service level agreements.Provide timely reporting of revenue, costs, and operational performance.Monitor, report, and help resolve incoming and outgoing disputes in line with contractual agreements.Liaise with third-party partners regarding invoicing, collections, settlements, and dispute resolution.Collaborate with local market stakeholders to meet and exceed business expectations.Partner with VOIS leadership teams to ensure successful service delivery.Support Procure-to-Pay processes and ensure invoice processing aligns with documented requirements.Take ownership of operational issues and drive resolution.Support month-end and year-end financial processes, including ledger reconciliations.Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, standardise, and enhance existing processes.Act as a change advocate by recommending improvements that support business objectives.
Who you are
Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce.1 to 3 years of experience in revenue and cost accounting, month-end journal processing, or a similar finance role.Strong accounting knowledge and financial acumen.Experience in reporting, MIS preparation, and analytical activities.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Proactive, accountable, customer-focused, and results-oriented approach.Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.Flexible and adaptable mindset.Knowledge of the Australian telecommunications industry would be advantageous.Commitment to company values, policies, procedures, and safety standards.
