About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Administrator to join our AIDA team within the New Service Tower. This role is focused on the administration, governance, security, optimisation and operational support of SAP Datasphere and SAC platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure and scalable analytics environments while collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, BI developers, cloud teams and information security teams. This opportunity is based in Pune and offers exposure to enterprise-scale analytics, cloud data platforms and transformation initiatives within a global telecommunications environment.

What you’ll do

SAP Datasphere Administration

• Manage tenants, spaces, resource allocation, quotas, user groups and role assignments.
• Establish and maintain platform standards, naming conventions and lifecycle governance.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot SAP and non-SAP connectivity including OData, ODBC and JDBC integrations.
• Manage data replication, virtualisation, data products and datasets.
• Govern semantic models, views, lineage and technical documentation.
• Monitor data loads, query performance and storage utilisation to improve platform efficiency and cost optimisation.
• Implement and maintain role-based access controls, data protection measures and audit compliance requirements.
• Support incident management, root cause analysis and continuous service improvement activities.
• Plan, validate and support SAP platform updates, patches and feature implementations.

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Administration

• Manage tenant provisioning, licensing, environment administration and capacity planning.
• Administer folders, teams, authorisations and user access controls.
• Configure and support SSO, SAML and directory integrations including Azure AD and Okta.
• Govern the lifecycle of stories, dashboards, analytical applications, planning artefacts and deployed content.
• Monitor platform performance, refresh schedules and data source connectivity.
• Optimise report and dashboard performance to enhance user experience.
• Maintain row-level security, audit trails and data privacy controls.
• Provide L2 and L3 support, knowledge sharing and platform enablement for users.

Cross-Platform Operations

• Collaborate with SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BTP and non-SAP data platform teams.
• Support automation of administrative activities through scripting, APIs and monitoring solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, content transport processes and operational governance.
• Maintain operational runbooks, architecture documentation and platform standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to meet service level agreements, operational objectives and strategic roadmap commitments.

Who you are

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP Datasphere administration, including spaces, roles, connectivity management and platform monitoring.
• Experience administering SAP Analytics Cloud environments, security models and content governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of security and identity management protocols including SSO, SAML, SCIM or LDAP integrations.
• Experience with Azure AD, Okta or similar identity platforms.
• Understanding of platform performance monitoring, scheduling, troubleshooting and capacity management.
• Working knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA CDS views and SAP HANA.
• Familiarity with non-SAP data platforms such as SQL Server, Snowflake or equivalent technologies.
• Experience in incident, problem and change management processes with an understanding of ITIL practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Telecom domain knowledge.
• Experience in data warehousing environments.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture principles.
• Exposure to automation, scripting and analytics platform DevOps practices.
• Experience working within large global organisations.

Education & Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate qualification, preferably in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
