Role Purpose

  • Lead Revenue Management team responsible for the planning, design, implementation and operation of Vodafone's products and services.
  • Responsible for Billing, Convergent Charging, Policy Management, Voucher Management and Mediation systems in addition to Prepaid CRM application and other in-house software applications.
  • Manage and grow a software engineering team to design, build and maintain in-house software applications to extend the capabilities of BSS platforms following Vodafone’s Golden Rules.
  • Technical Lead (Tribe Co-Lead) for Consumer Business Unit, Fixed Broadband, Content, Products & Services Agile Tribes. Share in forming Agile teams, setting operating models and work policies, build technical enablers for more productivity and less time-to-market, solve technical and business conflicts, manage continuous improvements for operations.
  • Set the vision, roadmap and strategy of Revenue Management domain.
  • Contribute to the Digital Transformation of Vodafone through providing the needed technical enablers and capabilities, supporting a smooth transition with minimal impact on employees, exploring innovate ideas for business operations and providing more-efficient less-controlled business processes.
  • Explore opportunities and apply Artificial Intelligence in the domain, to boost staff productivity, build agentic intelligent systems, introduce intelligent analytics, optimize system performance and provide operational/cost efficiencies.
  • Manage the team efficiency and productivity and ensure creative work environment in line with Vodafone’s Spirit strategy.
  • Set the team’s operational excellence strategy which provides high availability, redundancy, scalability, monitoring, alarming and optimization for the owned systems.
  • Manage the processes of vendors’ selection, relationships and negotiations.
  • Manage the budget for BSS/CCS domain.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Set the roadmap for Billing, Convergent Charging & Mediation domains and adopt new technologies in the market to enable Vodafone to deliver innovative products and services.
  • Lead a software engineering team to build innovative software applications that bring new business capabilities, drive revenues and increase efficiencies.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time with top quality and least time-to-market in a way that exceeds customer expectations and react rapidly to competition.
  • Provide needed support to Business teams (Consumer, Enterprise, Finance, Customer Care, HR and External Affairs) to ensure Vodafone's market leadership.
