About this Role:

We are seeking a Real Estate & Lease Accounting Operations Manager to lead end-to-end lease accounting and real estate finance operations for multiple Vodafone and Partner Markets through VOIS delivery centres. This role ensures IFRS 16 compliance, strong SOX control execution, high-quality financial outcomes, and continuous process digitisation and standardisation. The successful candidate will lead a span of over 120 people in Real Estate & Lease Accounting

What you’ll do

  • Establish a good understanding of the end-to-end process by working closely with relevant parties such as Local Markets - FinOps/Business, LCS, VOIS Internal stakeholders, and the Process Compliance & Transformation team.
  • Drive transformational projects on end-to-end Real Estate & Lease Accounting in operational and S16 processes through process standardisation and automation.
  • Ensure RE&LA Data quality across different levers is maintained to drive accurate financial reporting and accounting.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with SOX Controls and balance sheet policies.
  • Drive key people agenda items to ensure we build a future-ready 'SKILL factory'.

Who you are

  • You have experience working in a virtual team/matrix structure and can influence accordingly.
  • You can work with teams across functions to deliver improvements across Group Common Functions.
  • You possess strong communication skills and can influence at various levels and across functions in a complex matrix organisation.
  • You can support stakeholders with developing processes and supporting analyses to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of Group Internal processes.
  • You have the ability to navigate large amounts of information, extract long-term and prioritised actions, and deep dive into details.
  • You have SAP/RE-FX working knowledge.

You are a qualified accountant with 10+ years of experience in operations in a complex global organisation.
