Role Purpose

  • The senior role of Public Sector Account Director is responsible for managing Strategic Public Sector Clients across Central Government, identifying opportunities leveraging Vodafone’s market leading solutions across Mobile and Fixed Connectivity, Security, IOT and Cloud solutions.

What you'll do:

  • As a Public Sector Account Director at Vodafone, you'll manage strategic public sector clients across central government, leveraging Vodafone’s market-leading solutions in mobile and fixed connectivity, security, IoT, and cloud.
  • You'll develop a deep understanding of public sector priorities to inform business-focused proposals and ensure clients are updated on Vodafone's capabilities and innovations.
  • You'll create stakeholder maps, identify and win strategic opportunities, manage contracts, and drive growth through upselling managed and value-added services.
  • Additionally, you'll be responsible for revenue retention and growth, account strategy, RFP/RFI visibility, pipeline generation, and customer/market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

We Are Looking For You, If You Have:

  • Senior sales professional with 5+ years of experience in strategic complex sales, ideally in the public sector
  • Strong business acumen, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Deep understanding of ICT and digital transformation
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach
  • Expertise in identifying and developing relationships with senior stakeholders across the public sector
