Role Purpose

To be responsible for the following:

1. Development, building (ANT, Maven), testing & deployment of existing and new integration functionalities.
2. Developing integration APIs to be consumed by integration parties using provisioning system like Tertio and Tibco.
3. Developing Micro-Services using Spring framework and deploying it over on premises cloud (Openshift).
4. Doing Business automation by developing Enterprise Java application and APIs, for automating business process.
5. Building KPIs by using devops tools like Elastic, Jenkins…etc

Role Profile

Design:

Define the responsibilities, operations and relationships of a specific software module, and determines how it will be adjusted to the fulfil business needs.

•Delivery:

Participate in the Software Development life cycle

Ensure successful User Acceptance Test

Quality assurance of locally developed systems

Provide 2nd line support for systems in production

• Teamwork:

Dedication, sense of ownership in fulfilling company strategies. Continuous improvement in relevant area of profession.

•Standards & Procedures:

Ensure full compliance of all locally developed applications with the standard software development methodology used in Vodafone Egypt

Competencies and Qualifications

• Implement business requirements to technical systems functionalities.
• Work and Interact with a diversified team to meet business challenges.
• Effective Communication with different stakeholders.
• Self-motivated.
• Results driven and solutions focused.
• Mentor other team members

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• +2 years of IT experience.
• Experience in Software development and implementation life cycle.
• Computer Science/Engineering professional degree is a must
