Role Purpose/Business Unit:
To manage, co-ordinate and deliver projects within the allocated time, budget and quality for all requirements within PI Framework. To communicate effectively and provide clear direction to all stakeholders within the project. To effectively manage the relationships with clients and vendors within the project management environment. To mitigate possible impediments, risks and managing key project decisions. To track and document scope changes and provide project status reports by creating project plans. Understanding and implementation of SAFe Agile Framework.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project and Budget control – Deliver value on time within constraints using plans, effectively managing system dependencies, breaking down MVPs.
- Progress reports to stakeholders
- Create Project Plans
- Manage timelines ETE on the projects
- Track and document scope changes
- Risk management -Assists in mitigations in deviations from plan. Manage key project decisions. Setup retrospectives.
- Stakeholder management – facilitate regular status huddles, vendors and clients
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Matric plus degree or diploma (IS)
- Accredited PM qualification
- 3 to 5 years experience
- 3 – 5 years experience in project delivery environment
- Track record of delivering IT projects
- Detail orientation
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Planning and organising
- Facilitation and persuasion
- Effective communication – verbal and written
- Scheduling and requirements management
- Knowledge of projects management tools, JIRA, Confluence and Excel
- Team player
- Conflict management
