  • Own programme planning, budgeting, forecasting, and spend management, including preparation of effort estimates, business cases, and budget approvals (OPEX and CAPEX).
  • Analyse customer needs and relevant data to shape programme strategy and execution, ensuring solutions meet Business-to-Telco and Business-to-Business-to-Customer models.
  • Assess the impact of change across projects and services, proactively identifying risks and defining effective mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across VCI, Cyber Security, IT4IT, and local market customers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations across technical, commercial, and delivery aspects to enable successful programme outcomes.
  • Provide governance leadership for IAM programmes, including Agile ways of working, continuous improvement, backlog management, and prioritisation of emerging requirements.
  • Drive issue resolution and transparent reporting through SteerCos and other governance forums, keeping senior leaders informed of progress and risks.
  • Manage and motivate large, cross-functional matrix teams (8–20+ contributors) and engage with a wide network of customer stakeholders across Vodafone entities.
  • Participate in demand management reviews and contribute to prioritisation of IAM and Office IT Infrastructure requests.
  • Ensure compliance with Vodafone policies, internal regulations, and mandatory learning requirements.

Who you are

  • An experienced programme delivery professional with a strong background in large-scale, complex, multi-national technology programmes.
  • Confident in leading cross-functional, matrix-based teams and aligning multiple delivery streams and priorities.
  • Comfortable operating in a complex, evolving environment with ambiguity, demonstrating resilience and persistence in driving change.
  • Customer-focused, collaborative, and pragmatic, with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear, actionable outcomes.
  • An effective communicator, able to engage, influence, and present credibly at executive and senior leadership level.
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, PI planning, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Technically knowledgeable across Office IT infrastructure, digital technologies, and software development, with the ability to design simple solutions for complex scenarios.
  • Skilled in financial management, budget control, and building compelling business cases for complex programmes.
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (a master’s degree or equivalent is advantageous).
  • Professionally certified in programme or project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner, SAFe, Agile or Scrum Master certification preferred).
