About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to drive backlog ownership, prioritisation, and delivery within SAFe Agile frameworks. This role involves translating business needs into actionable user stories, engaging stakeholders across business and technology, and ensuring strategic alignment with product vision and roadmap. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and business expectations.

What you will do

Backlog Ownership & Prioritisation: Define, refine, and prioritise the team backlog aligned with business goals and customer needs. Translate high-level features into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Business Product Managers, Architects, and Operations to shape the product roadmap. Act as the voice of the customer within the Agile Release Train and participate in PI Planning and SAFe ceremonies.Delivery & Governance: Support development teams during sprints, clarify requirements, and accept completed stories. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and manage financial and operational governance for enhancements.Strategic Alignment: Contribute to defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning technology innovation with business value.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with architects, RTEs, and DevOps teams to ensure technical feasibility and support compliance, security, and lifecycle management processes.

Who you are

  • Strong understanding of SAFe Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and configurations (Essential, Portfolio, Large Solution).
  • Familiarity with telecom systems, BSS/OSS architecture, and application lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Confluence).
  • Understanding of GDPR, security by design, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders in multicultural environments.
  • Hands-on experience in SAFe Agile teams managing full lifecycle from design to release.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in telecom or enterprise IT.
  • Must hold a technical/professional qualification: B.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc (Computer Science).
  • Preferred certifications: SAFe POPM, CSPO, Agile Business Analyst, AWS/GCP/Java or similar.
