About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester with strong expertise in non-functional testing for telecom systems and cloud/on-premise environments. The individual will design and execute performance testing strategies, analyse results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. This role requires hands-on experience with leading performance testing tools and a solid understanding of telecom processes and KPIs.

What you will do

  • Define and implement performance testing strategies for telecom technology stacks across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Deliver projects in the testing space, ensuring efficiency and adherence to defined metrics and processes.
  • Develop dynamic scripts and scenarios, execute and coordinate performance tests, analyse results, and communicate findings to stakeholders and vendors.
  • Collaborate with application teams to resolve performance-related issues and ensure accuracy of deliverables.
  • Promote reusability of test assets such as scripts and input datasets across projects.
  • Drive improvements in test automation and define best practices for continuous efficiency enhancement.

Who you are

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in performance testing.
  • Must-have skills:
    • Hands-on experience with JMeter for designing, executing, and analysing performance tests.
    • Practical knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes for monitoring test environments.
    • Familiarity with telecom processes, systems, and KPIs relevant to performance testing.
    • Ability to integrate testing tools with CI/CD pipelines and use monitoring/reporting solutions (e.g., Grafana, InfluxDB).
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
  • Good-to-have skills:
    • Understanding of Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, AppDynamics.
    • Familiarity with Unix Shell, Python scripting, SQL queries, and databases.
    • Experience with Jira and Confluence for test management.
  • Interpersonal skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Commitment to quality with a methodical approach to work.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
    • Fluency in English.
