About this Role
We are seeking an experienced OSS Technical Delivery Lead to drive the aggregation, governance, and execution of OSS assurance demands across multiple markets. This role acts as the central demand “front door” for OSS assurance, ensuring alignment with digital portfolios, network operations, and local market needs while delivering against strategic 2025 transformation objectives.
What you’ll do
- Act as a single point of contact for Assurance SMEs for all demand and delivery requests across markets
- Manage OSS delivery projects aligned with transformation and integration of UK networks and local markets
- Own and track budgets (typically £250k–£1m), ensuring delivery within capex/opex forecasts
- Coordinate impact assessments, prioritisation, and demand mobilisation processes
- Maintain governance trackers including SCM approvals, mobilisation, and demand reviews
- Consolidate all OSS work packages into a rolling 18-month delivery plan
- Manage demand intake, collaborating with digital, network, and OSS teams
- Lead OSS resource planning with internal teams and suppliers
- Publish KPI dashboards (e.g., Kanban boards) for demand and delivery transparency
- Identify and manage OSS risks in alignment with Technology Operations
- Oversee portfolio management for group business areas
- Track OSS budgets and supplier SOW approvals
- Manage external vendors and supplier coordination across OSS domains
- Drive cross-market demand delivery and cross-charging processes
- Utilise tools such as JIRA, PEGA, and Azure DevOps for workflow management
Coordinate with geographically distributed teams, including European markets
Who you are
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in OSS and telecom domains
- Strong knowledge of software delivery lifecycle, particularly in Agile environments
- Proven expertise in demand and delivery management and governance
- Skilled in stakeholder and supplier management across global teams
- Proficient in tools such as Azure DevOps, PEGA, and JIRA
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial planning
- Experience working in multinational and geographically dispersed environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to navigate complex organisational structures and deliver outcomes collaboratively
- Professional certifications such as PMP or SAFe are desirable
