About this role

We are seeking an OSS Solution Designer to define and deliver end‑to‑end OSS solutions that enable IP network design and support interface/API architecture across Vodafone’s global landscape. In this position, the individual will contribute to the enhancement of the Network Asset Management Inventory (NAMI) by integrating diverse network discovery sources, designing interfaces for security systems, and supporting automation of engineering processes. The role collaborates closely with engineering, OSS, security teams, suppliers, and multiple Vodafone European markets.

What you will do

  • Act as the technical design lead within OSS Support & Readiness, assessing requirements and solution designs to ensure alignment with Vodafone strategy, customer needs, and automation goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across OSS, Engineering, Security, and external partners to design and deliver enhancements, from minor updates to large-scale development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with system users and security stakeholders, incorporating their requirements and supporting network asset documentation processes.
  • Define and deliver security requirements for Network Asset Inventory solutions, including the design and enhancement of interfaces with security systems across IP/network domains.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with telecom industry standards and frameworks, including 3GPP and TM Forum.

Who you are

  • Experienced in OSS solution design, including API and interface design, with a focus on IP networks and cyber security solutions.
  • Possess a solid background in IP networking and security concepts.
  • Demonstrate awareness of OSS technologies related to IP networks, including inventory systems and IP infrastructure monitoring.
  • Have a strong understanding of mobile and fixed network technologies and architectures.
  • Bring experience with database and inventory platforms; this is considered beneficial.
  • Hold a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  • Have relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS or GCP, with Amdocs Inventory or other network inventory certifications being advantageous.
