What you’ll do

Networks are our key asset and enabler to better serve new and existing customers. Vodafone is a rapidly changing company that constantly invests in improving and optimising the networks. As part of this effort, we are looking for someone with a financial & planning mind-set to work within the Planning, Demand, Transform & Delivery, reporting to the Network Market Partner for Italy, Greece and ensure the budget market network investments and plans are efficiently submitted on time. This role requires a candidate with business acumen and knowledge of the overall telecoms market in Italy, Greece who is passionate about technology, and high experience in budget planning (Capex & Opex).
The candidate will oversee the annual CAPEX and OPEX budget/LRP planning process for Greece & IT ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and regional business goals, drive/manage the preparation and approval of the annual DB/LRP and in-year plan changes across all Network functions. He/she will assist the CNOs in the prioritization of the budget plan to meet the financial envelope, ensuring all cross-domain dependencies are properly captured and priorities are validated against the Technology Strategy guidance and market demand. The candidate will be responsible for managing both the NW financial envelope for Greece and the NSE budget planning for Italy covering the full process from NEP to LRP/DB and operational financial envelope execution.

  • More specifically you will:
    Manage the consolidation and harmonization of the Capex plan across all NW functions, collaborating with Finance to optimize OPEX.
  • Support the CNO in the prioritization of the NW plan, providing scenarios to align with budget constraints and overseeing the submission of the NW consolidated (DB/LRP) plan to
  • Finance, including KPIs submission in OHP.
  • Oversee the NSE budget planning from NEP to execution, ensuring the inclusion of DB/LRP budget and KPIs submission. Ensure that all dependencies across NSE domains are captured cross-functionally during the budget preparation.
  • Support plan submission, in-year budget tracking, and re-prioritization, aligning with Vodafone's strategy and market competition, while focusing on cost reduction, ROCE improvement, and reduced TTM.
  • Manage Finance support during both OPEX/CAPEX plan submissions and any specific ad-hoc cost analysis or audit exercises.
  • Ensure alignment with local markets, manage demand forecasts and delivery, handle ad hoc demands, support marketing with network announcements, and assist the CNO in aligning network plans.

Who you are

  • More than 3 years of experience in network planning or a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proven planning experience with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Knowledge of end-to-end (E2E) network architecture (desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships
  • Proven experience in executive-level reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presentation capability

Key Deliverables:
