Job Description

Your day to Day

You will sit within the Central Planning team with the Core activities largely covering Capex management across Central budget. This includes the ownership of the consolidated reporting within Central capex to enable accurate reporting, validation and analysis with the business. This role further helps to drive Management decisions through presentation of data and analysis to ensure prioritization of spend across all of Central budget for all reporting cycles with excellent exposure to finance, the wider business and senior management.

•You will own the consolidated Capex reporting and alignment within NSE; analysis against actuals, Fcst and Budget to deliver budget targets and drive business spend decisions.

•You will manage the end-to-end process for central transfers, working closely with the business and Finance to ensure timely and accurate reflection of the financial position across all reporting.

•You will work closely with the business to ensure accuracy of reporting and risk & Opportunities within NSE Capex spend profile are identified and controlled.

•You will align with the business and finance for monthly and budgetary reporting ensuring a depth of understanding of Capex spend.

•You will be in charge of management of Capex Spend within the Budget Planning Tool (BPT) - owning the consolidation of all central Capex spend with the wider Team, ensuring accuracy of reporting across all cycles and presentation of spend to management.

•Ownership of the central budget tracking reporting including internal moves and transfers to enable accurate submissions into the central tool and alignment across all stakeholders.

•Wider support to the Central planning team including, financial analysis, Reporting, NSE projects & Audit requests.

•Inter-functional relationships

•Knowledge of network topologies and technological trends

•In depth Excel skills and PowerPoint

•Excellent communication skills to all stakeholders

•Over 2 years’ experience in Technology planning or similar

•English High Level
