About this role

We are seeking a skilled and customer‑centric National Account Partner to support Vodafone Ireland’s SME Champion Strategy through effective account planning, pipeline creation and relationship management. The individual will work with national‑level, large corporate customers to understand their business goals, identify opportunities across Mobility, Fixed, Mobile Broadband, Unified Communications and Security, and guide them through the Vodafone selling process. This role requires strong analytical insight, a consultative approach and the ability to nurture and convert a high‑quality sales pipeline while collaborating with wider sales and solutions teams.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive account plan that supports the “Protect & Nurture” segment of Vodafone Ireland’s SME Champion Strategy.
  • Create and implement contract strategies that ensure proactive engagement across assigned accounts.
  • Identify and manage customer requirements to support proposal and contract completion.
  • Partner collaboratively with Solutions Sales to identify and progress opportunities that support revenue targets.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of at least three times the annual sales target.
  • Support marketing initiatives, campaigns and events focused on key business growth areas.
  • Assess customer needs and articulate how Vodafone solutions can address them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on tender responses, estimating, coordinating inputs and building relationships with procurement teams.
  • Quote and negotiate pricing and credit terms, navigating procurement processes with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline status and key activities to the Inside Sales Manager.
  • Engage collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customers receive consistent, high‑quality service throughout the lifecycle.

Who you are

  • An individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service within a client‑focused environment.
  • Experienced (3+ years) in a similar role within a fast‑paced, commercially driven setting.
  • An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills and a consultative approach.
  • Strong in decision‑making, problem‑solving, organisation and analytical thinking.
  • Highly motivated, with a positive, solutions‑focused attitude and a commitment to achieving strong performance outcomes.
  • Skilled in managing time effectively and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Commercially aware with a clear understanding of sales and project delivery dynamics.
  • Confident in presenting to varied audiences and influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Proven in delivering against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Capable of handling service issues constructively and resolving complaints with professionalism.
  • Focused on driving business growth and contributing to continuous service improvements.
