Job Role Related Content (Role specific)

Experience "• Understanding of Siebel architecture (client, server, and database layers) • Knowledge of Siebel components: Gateway Server, Siebel Server, Web Server, Application Interface, Database Server • Awareness of Siebel object types (Business Objects, Business Components, UI Components) • Installing and configuring Siebel CRM, Siebel Tools, and Siebel Gateway • Configuring and managing Enterprise, Siebel Server, Component Groups • Managing Siebel Application Object Manager (AOM) and Synchronization Manager • Applying patches, hotfixes, and service packs • Administering Siebel Gateway, Siebel Server, and Object Managers • Managing Siebel component groups, parameters, and server processes • Monitoring and troubleshooting server logs and component logs • Monitoring Siebel logs, trace files, and system alerts • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in Object Manager, Workflow, and Scripting • Debugging Siebel server crashes, performance issues, and configuration errors • Understanding Siebel logs, SARM (Siebel Application Response Measurement), and trace analysis • Using Siebel Log Parser and Siebel Configuration Verification Tool (CVT) • Handling object manager failures, session crashes, and workflow failures" Responsibilities Managing/Performing deployments in Test environment Keep maximum availability of test environment
