About this Role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to take full ownership of statutory financial reporting and compliance for designated international legal entities. This role demands a deep understanding of entity-specific business strategies, products, and technical accounting requirements. The individual will collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure efficient operations and accurate financial information. The role is pivotal in supporting the Head of Finance Operations and engaging with Enterprise Finance, Tax, Treasury, and audit teams.

What you will do

  • Deliver insightful financial analysis across revenue, cost of sales, and balance sheet items for management and board reporting.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of legal entity results, ensuring clarity and evidence through management accounts.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and supporting documentation with precision and timeliness.
  • Ensure timely execution of relevant controls in line with Vodafone policies.
  • Maintain high standards of local finance and tax compliance.
  • Implement change initiatives to align entities with the Vodafone Finance Operating Model.
  • Configure ONESOURCE templates based on process data and legal requirements, ensuring validation by local experts.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the entity, resolving complex issues across teams.
  • Drive standardisation and simplification of statutory account production processes.

Who you are

  • A qualified accountant with over 4 years of post-qualification experience and sound IFRS knowledge.
  • Skilled in statutory reporting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communicator with strong coordination and presentation capabilities.
  • Experienced in change management and transformation.
  • Exposure to shared service environments is advantageous.
  • Technically proficient, with knowledge of ONESOURCE and quick interpretation of accounting standards.
